Meet the client
GLIF Medical is a medical aesthetics clinic in Verdun (Île-des-Sœurs), Montreal, led by Dr. Peguy Télusma. She is a family physician registered with the Collège des médecins du Québec and the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario, and she practises aesthetic medicine under direct medical supervision there.
Before SIB came on board, every booking went through Square, with no contact form anywhere on the site to capture demand. Beyond the clinic's phone line, the site gave no reliable way to track interest from new patients.
The starting point
At the start of the engagement, GLIF Medical was working from close to a blank slate in search: almost no inbound links, no established domain authority, and most tested keywords sat far down the results, aside from the clinic's own name, which Google already recognized. The earliest search data available, from around the new site's launch, confirmed that modest starting point. Bookings, meanwhile, depended entirely on Square, since the site itself had no other way to capture that demand.
What we found
Google was essentially skipping over GLIF Medical in its results, even though the pages built for those services already existed on the site.
The content was already there. Google just wasn't surfacing it, which left those pages with no visibility for the work they described.
In third-party keyword data, GLIF Medical showed almost no organic visibility, while its leading competitor showed a much larger footprint.
The audit traced that gap to a lack of authority and backlinks rather than to the site's content, which pointed the plan toward earning links and indexing rather than rewriting pages.
The clinic's structured data for a medical practice was already ahead of what comparable clinics typically use.
That meant effort could go toward authority and indexing instead of redoing technical groundwork that was already solid.
Every booking ran through Square, with no contact form anywhere on the site.
That left the phone call as the only measurable signal on the site, which is why SIB put call tracking in place.
What we did
conception-web
- Designed and deployed a custom WordPress child theme for GLIF Medical, in French and English, with its own canonical tags and medical-clinic structured data.
- Built French and English booking-confirmation pages with a verified conversion-tracking event, so a completed booking counts as a lead.
seo-montreal
- Verified the Google Search Console property and submitted the site for indexing, which brought nearly all of the site's pages into Google's index.
- Added a batch of new English-language blog articles to the site.
- Ran an entity and competitor audit and built a French-first list of target keywords.
- Set up broken-link outreach to competitors' expired pages, using French-language templates.
- Ran a Google Business Profile ranking audit across the service area and confirmed the right primary category for the listing.
- Audited the full published blog archive, fixed mismatched French/English post pairings, merged overlapping FAQ and pricing content into existing articles, and removed duplicate drafts.
google-ads-montreal
- Built Search campaigns covering the clinic's core treatments and a Verdun-focused consultation offer, filing the required health-advertising exemption, then left them paused.
crm-gestion-leads
- Turned on call tracking so every phone lead generated by the site is recorded.
- Installed privacy-conscious analytics, with inputs and forms masked in session recordings to meet Quebec's Law 25.
SIB rebuilt GLIF Medical's site as a bilingual WordPress theme, then worked on getting it found: verifying and submitting it to Google, publishing new blog content, cleaning up the existing blog archive, and reaching out for backlinks. Google Ads campaigns were built and filed for the required health-policy exemption, then left paused. Because the clinic only takes bookings through Square, SIB added call tracking and privacy-conscious analytics so every phone inquiry generated by the site could be counted.
